The 4 C’s Of Attraction Marketing To Build Your List

If we were to break down attraction marketing to one sentence.  It would be this:  people are attracted to people who they believe will help or protect them.  Think about your life.  Have you ever done something (even if you didn’t want to do it) because you believed the situation would help or protect you?  Some people don’t even realize they are even making these decisions based on this concept.

Attraction marketing, if done properly requires no convincing.  Basically, it comes down to developing the Know, Like and Trust factor through educating, entertaining and telling stories to build relationships with your target audience.  People will buy from you without you selling to them.  

This is a huge advantage over other marketing techniques because you will never be disappointed. You will never experience rejection because people who are interested never show up or drop off quickly.

So what are the steps to attraction marketing?  It comes down to these 4 C’s.

First define your target audience by figuring out their pains, problems and struggles. You want to become the resource with the solutions. Then move on to the 4 C’s.

Collect People:

This is done by promoting inexpensive offers such as free trainings.   The easiest way now a day is to promote on social media sites such Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and etc.  You can use free and paid methods.  At the same time as you are promoting, it is a good rule of thumb to interact and engage with your audience. This will increase your chances of people looking at your promotions and opting in.

Capture their email and phone numbers: 

This is the start of building your list.  Once your audience views your offer, they will have to fill in their name, email and phone number to get the training. It’s important here to realize that the more relevant and valuable your training is to your target audience, the more names you will capture.

Communicate:   

Start building relationships with your list through sending email broadcasts and newsletters.   This is where you start sorting your list and identifying the buyers from the tire kickers.  Look for people who don’t need to be convinced.

Close: 

This is the easy part.  At this point, your email list has had many interactions with you. When the time is right, your list will buy from you.

As with many strategies, there is one C that will increase your chances of success and that is Consistency.  If you were to apply these steps every day, in a short period of time, you will build a very targeted list that will buy from you over and over again.
